Designed, developed, and manufactured in Denmark, the pure audio CD-2 provides the unsurpassed performance expected from a Lyngdorf Audio product. Developed with the experience gained from multiple award-winning Lyngdorf Audio digital amplifiers and CD players, this player is one of the best-sounding pure audio CD players on the market.
The CD-2 is designed for audio only, and for this reason, using a pure audio drive is both simpler and better. All multi-format drives are based on video designs and clocks, and the audio output is then re-sampled (uncontrolled) to audio output clocks. Many choose to optimise the clock on the drive itself, but no matter what you do, ground potentials are difficult to control and the engine control board is noise-inducing.
The Lyngdorf Audio philosophy is to get the audio signal as clean as possible and to do the optimisation based on the Lyngdorf Audio precision clock system. Based on previous work with CD players and fully digital amplifiers, we know the do’s and don’ts of clock systems. For the CD-2, we have taken the clock from the Millennium Mk IV and implemented it into the CD-2. The key is low-phase noise in the audio band.

30-day returns
Eligible online purchases may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery.
During the first 14 days after delivery, your statutory right to cancel applies. We extend this with our voluntary 30-day returns policy for eligible change-of-mind returns.
To request a return, email info@aperio-av.co.uk with your name, order number and details of the goods. We will provide the return address and relevant instructions.
Customers are responsible for return costs when returning non-faulty goods because they have changed their mind. Aperio Audio Visual Ltd will cover reasonable return or collection costs where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied.
For change-of-mind returns, goods should remain unused and, wherever reasonably possible, in their original packaging. During the statutory cancellation period, you may inspect the goods as reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. We may make a lawful deduction for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is permitted by law.
For returns made under our voluntary extended returns period, after the statutory 14-day cancellation period, the product must not have been installed, connected, configured, registered, calibrated, marked or otherwise used. All accessories, manuals, protective materials and packaging must be returned and the product must be suitable for resale as new.
We do not offer direct exchanges or charge a restocking fee. Bespoke, personalised and certain sealed products may not be eligible for return except where required by law. Some special-order products may also be excluded from our voluntary extended returns period. This does not affect your statutory rights.
