Several years ago, we embarked on the construction of a new house in the Cotswolds… We contacted several companies and provided an outline brief. Although they offered a range of proposals, it was apparent that they would struggle to provide the flexible and cost-effective bespoke solution we required. After spending some more time searching for a suitably qualified consultant, we found Aperio. Based in Swindon, they are conveniently close to our house site.We had several meetings with Aperio who quickly and patiently translated our wish list into a deliverable and affordable solution… The options for home automation are extensive and Aperio made us understand the need to remain flexible and open-minded through the specification process, to allow for the inevitable changes as we became more familiar with the wide range of possibilities available. Aperio worked tirelessly to specify and install the system, and they exceeded our expectations in all respects. These are complex systems and we, like other users unfamiliar with such systems, needed to work closely with Aperio to achieve the fantastic result we now enjoy. It adds another dimension to the pleasure we get from our new house.

We had our broadband upgraded from 3 to 300 Mbps. Aperio ensured that we have super-fast Wi-Fi throughout the house with a Ruckus system and upgraded all our AV equipment so that we can finally watch Netflix and other streaming services. They are also going to connect our barn to the house Wi-Fi – I would highly recommend Aperio.

Aperio has done an amazing job in designing, advising, project managing and installing the home cinema experience in my lounge. Aperio AV have been brilliant turning my dream holiday home into a very smart dream holiday home. We had been experiencing problems with our Wi-Fi, Intranet, Sonos and Movie room and after many attempts with other suppliers, we called in Aperio who took on the project. They recommended we install a simple, user friendly system, for controlling our movie room equipment and upgraded and simplified our Wi-Fi and Intranet so that we enjoy a better connection of all our systems and media throughout the house. Viewing media has been transformed from a headache to a pleasure. Aperio are a joy to work with, they get the job done without delay and go beyond the norm, even suggesting a ‘make over’ for the movie room! Subsequent tweaking has improved further the sound and picture quality ensuring we get the best from our system. We would have no hesitation in using them again, nothing is too much trouble their knowledge is spot on, they are well worth it.

I first discovered Aperio through some internet research and when I called them, they were happy to come over on a speculative basis. My initial interest was in getting advice on a wireless central heating and hot water programmer. They were knowledgeable and had experience of the two systems I had shortlisted, so not only could they advise on the system that would be most suitable for my needs, they were also able to source and fit the system as well. Whilst they were over, I happened to mention a new kitchen that I was installing and the fact that I wouldn’t mind incorporating some music into the new layout. Again, their knowledge and ideas were invaluable and they were able to supply and fit some speakers into the kitchen as well as integrating it with my existing music system giving me the flexibility of listening to music in the kitchen, through my TV sound system in the Lounge or a combination of the two. Finally, they resolved a long-standing problem that most of us have by installing a single TV/Sky/Blu-ray/Audio programmer replacing the 4 or 5 remote controls that previously littered the lounge. On top of that, we can now use everything without having to open the cabinet for the remote to work! It was a real pleasure having Aperio over, their work was faultless, they’re nice guys and very competitive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for small or large projects.

I contacted Aperio when a client of mine was having trouble with their Control4 system installed by another company. What was supposed to make all the entertainment and lighting equipment integrated and simple to manage, turned into a real nightmare. The system was badly designed with many flaws and faults. Aperio took on the work and did a magnificent job by rectifying the faults and recommending what was needed to improve the entire system at a very reasonable price. But most importantly, they did not pack and leave as many do, their aftercare and customer services is second to none. Aperio are always available to answer any questions you may have or to pay you visit should one be required. I would not hesitate to recommend Aperio to anyone who requires a new AV, integrated lighting system or just want to upgrade to an existing system.

Aperio AV have installed and consulted on my home cinema build. They have given excellent advice on not only what will acoustically be best in my modest sized front room but professionally installed everything also. Unlike others which tried to simply sell me the most expensive piece of hardware, (most likely due to maximise their profits) Aperio AV put my needs as a customer first and balanced my budget with expectations. I cannot recommend Aperio AV enough to anyone thinking of getting an in-home theatre, they are honest, friendly, and always willing to help or answer questions.
